All submissions for future Storytails dates should be sent to info@storytails.org

Each story should last no longer than 15 minutes and no shorter than 5 minutes when read aloud. Between 1000 - 3000 words is ideal.

You do not have to be a professional writer to take part. 

Submissions should be sent no less than 10 days before each Storytails event - all scheduled dates are at the bottom of every page. 

The aim of the event is to give those who enjoy writing short stories the opportunity to share original tales in a relaxed and friendly environment.

By submitting your story you consent:

- to a pdf version of the full text of your story being made available for download from the Storytails website

- to an mp3 file of you reading your story live at the Storytails event available for download from the Storytails website & Podcast

- to a photograph of you reading your story at the event appearing on the Storytails website

You will be contacted within one week to confirm if your story has been selected.

Original tales that have not been read at other storytelling events are preferred.
